Drake has always made music that can appeal to a wide variety of audiences. This far-reaching clout and influence of his have made him an icon in hip-hop and amassed a huge fan following all over the globe. With that being said, one of his highly enthusiastic ardent fans recently tried to shoot her shot at the rapper but he turned her down, of course.
At the annual Homecoming Super Bowl party hosted by h.wood group and Uncommon Entertainment on Friday night, an overly excited fan attempted to make her move toward Drake in the middle of his performance. This “distraction” from the crowd caused the rapper to stop midway through his 1 a.m. set at Scottdale’s private jet complex Hangar One.
The rapper said, “Gimme a sec,” and grabbed a fan’s phone and turned it towards the crowd so they could see the words “Let’s f-k” displayed on the screen. The rapper, who appeared flattered by the gesture, politely declined the offer before going back to his performance.
Drake enthralled the audience by performing a melody of older songs rather than three complete songs. “I have one question for you, and I need you to answer me honestly. Tonight, they asked me to come up here and they asked me to do three songs, 20 minutes,” Drake told the audience.
“I can either do my 20 minutes or we could just run through all the old sh*t. It’s up to you.”
The rapper performed a variety of songs, including “God’s Plan,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” “Started From the Bottom,” and “HYFR (Hell Ya F*cking Right). Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get the latest updates.
