Rob Gronkowski is a four-time Super Bowl champion and many consider him one of the best football players in the current era of the sport. In fact, Gronkowski is no stranger to WWE as he was involved in a program at WrestleMania a couple of years ago. With the Super Bowl set to take place tonight, it seems Gronkowski decided to carry around Snoop Dogg’s golden WWE Title, which was stolen.
Snoop Dogg is a WWE Hall Of Famer and received the golden WWE Championship from Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch at the WrestleMania Launch Party at SoFi Stadium in August. He brought it on the Holidaze of Blaze Tour “to show the fans how dope it is,” but it was then stolen.
Even Pete Davidson was spotted with Snoop Dogg’s golden WWE Championship during a Pro Bowl game last week. Clearly, WWE is not yet done with this current angle, which began in December last year.
WWE took to their Instagram and uploaded a video of Rob Gronkowski, as he was in possession of Snoop Dogg’s golden WWE Championship. Gronkowski was seen at the desert, the Pro Bowl game and finally, just before tonight’s Super Bowl, as he clearly had a great time with the title.
From the #ProBowl to Gronk Beach to The Big Game, @gronk has @snoopdogg’s #WWEGoldenTitle!!
It is evident that WWE is trying to create a storyline with Snoop Dogg’s Golden WWE Championship. With WrestleMania 39 set to take place on April 1st and 2nd at the SoFi Stadium in California, we’ll have to what kind of story WWE will make out of this.
