Post Malone is currently one of the most in-demand rappers, and there is a good reason for that. He had his big break thanks to his Sunflower track back in 2018 and has been going strong ever since. That being said, in spite of his popularity, it seems Malone was denied entry into a bar because of his tattoos.
Post Malone is someone who absolutely loves tattoos. In fact, a huge portion of his body is completely covered with tattoos and fans simply cannot think of him without tattoos on his body.
Over the weekend, during a trip to the west coast of Australia, Posty was denied entry to the rooftop bar at QT Perth due to his extensive tattoos not meeting the establishment’s dress code requirements.
While speaking to The West Australian, Post Malone revealed that QT Perth’s rooftop bar turned him away because of his tattoos. Malone made it clear that he was utterly shocked by this incident.
“They turned me away for my tattoos. I’ve never really experienced anything like that.”
The venue’s dress code prohibits “face, neck, and offensive tattoos” – the first two of which the singer has in spades. The 5-star QT hotel has since apologized for denying him entry.
“At QT, we aim to welcome everyone and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. QT has been recognized for this for many years,” reads a statement issued to Daily Mail Australia.
“However, on Saturday night, our third-party security did not exercise the appropriate discretion and we take full responsibility for this. We sincerely apologize to the individuals affected.”
Thankfully, Post Malone’s night was not in shambles despite this incident. This is because Malone ventured to the nearby 18 Knots rooftop bar where he mingled with fans, even treating them to drinks. Malone clearly had a great time and that is all that matters to him.
