Super Bowl LVII is in the rearview mirror, and the Kansas City Chiefs won the big game 35 to 38 in a last-second field goal situation. Eagles fans are not happy at all, and that is understandable, but they still gave us a great game.
The XFL is coming back to give the NFL some off-season competition. That being said, The Rock, one of the XFL’s primary owners, was paying attention to the NFL’s biggest game of the year.
The Rock tweeted out to thank the Eagles and the Chiefs for their efforts. They put on quite a show, and it all came down to the wire, just like a championship game should.
Thank you @Chiefs & @Eagles for that phenomenal game!
Huge congrats to KC – #SuperBowl champions! Football doesn’t end as we kick off our @XFL2023 season next week
League of grit and hunger and I can’t wait to maybe see one of our XFL players live that @NFL Super Bowl dream too
We will have to see how The Rock’s re-imagined XFL turns out. They have a lot of things to iron out, but teams have been selected and a schedule is in place. In the meantime, NFL fans will have to recover from last night’s big game, especially if they were rooting for the Eagles.
While we prepare for the next NFL season and for the XFL to start up again, keep checking back with Thirsty for more.
