Olivia Wilde Reacts To Criticism Over Calling A$AP Rocky ‘Hot’ During Rihanna’s Super Bowl Show

Olivia Wilde made headlines after getting together with British heartthrob Harry Styles in January 2021. However, she recently found herself in hot water after she apparently called A$AP Rocky ‘hot’ during Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday. But now it appears like fans probably did a mistake as she recently clarified her remarks.

Wilde expressed her admiration for the rapper and called him ‘hot’ in a photo that has since been deleted from her Instagram. However, she recently took to her Instagram Stories to react to the backlash she was receiving after sharing the snap.

The Don’t Worry Darling director wrote, “If I thought he was hot before, this really put me over the edge,” alongside a video of Rocky recording RiRi on Sunday’s show. Fans quickly took to Twitter to express their opinions on Wilde’s post and label it as “inappropriate.” One Twitter user joked about the recently single Wilde, saying, “She’s really living up to that last name [of] hers.”

Just a few hours later, Wilde, who had initially tagged both Rihanna and Rocky, took to her Stories to clarify her comments. She shared the same image with some additional information.

“For anyone who got it twisted. It’s hot to respect your partner. Especially when your partner just did thaaaaaat.”

Rocky was really proud of his partner. The rapper, who has been in a relationship with Rihanna since 2020, was seen taking pictures and videos of his girlfriend on Sunday while he witnessed her perform from the crowd.
