Ice Spice Claims $150K Gift From Lil Tjay Isn’t Proof They Are Dating

Lil Tjay made a significant gesture on Valentine’s Day by gifting Ice Spice with a $150,000 Richard Mille watch, which undoubtedly enhanced the latter’s wrist game. However, both rappers have stated that they are just “friends,” so it would be premature to assume that the gift carries romantic implications.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, sources close to Ice Spice stated that while Lil Tjay and Ice Spice are not in a romantic relationship, Tjay still wanted to commemorate their successful collaboration on “Gangsta Boo,” which recently charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Hence, he decided to gift her a $150,000 Richard Mille watch as a sentimental token of appreciation.

Benny the Jeweler, who is based in New York City, disclosed that Lil Tjay’s $150,000 gift to Ice Spice was an RM-05 Rose Gold Richard Mille watch with a white band. The watch was reportedly available for pickup on February 14, which coincided with Valentine’s Day.

It is no surprise that the extravagant watch has garnered attention, considering that Lil Tjay was the only featured artist on Ice Spice’s debut EP “Like..?” which was released a few weeks ago. The collaboration on the EP has certainly brought the rappers closer, leading Tjay to gift the luxurious watch as a commemorative gesture.

The track would’ve had a video too, but Tjay got arrested for gun possession ahead of filming, forcing Ice to shoot her “In Ha Mood” video instead. Regardless, the two are not romantically involved right now and that’s all that matters.
