Bam Margera’s Wife Filed For Divorce After He Acted ‘Inappropriately’ With Their Son

Bam Margera was a founding member of the iconic TV series, ‘Jackass’, alongside notable figures such as Johnny Knoxville. Regrettably, his long-standing battle with drug addiction and other issues led to his exclusion from the latest ‘Jackass Forever’ production. His wife also recently filed for divorce recently and it seems it had to do with how he acted inappropriately with their son.

It was previously reported that Bam Margera ran away from a Florida rehab facility he wasn’t allowed to leave. This caused many fans to be concerned for his well-being.

He was eventually found, and the belief was that his split from his wife was the reason that Bam bolted from rehab. As previously reported, Bam Margera’s wife filed for divorce a couple of days ago.

According to TMZ, a specific occurrence compelled her to file for separation. Sources indicate that the trigger was Bam allegedly spending time with their son while she suspected he was under the influence of substances.

Nikki Margera’s attorney David Glass stated that her recent filing came after the ‘Jackass’ star visited their 5-year-old, Phoenix, while Nikki was present. The lawyer added that Nikki thought Bam was not sober, while he claimed that he was.

It was said that after the visit she made the hard choice, after years of trying to help Bam, that she needed to protect herself and their son. Nikki is currently asking for legal and physical custody over Phoenix, as well as spousal support. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing story.
