Rihanna has solidified her position as one of the most accomplished vocalists in the music industry, despite facing stiff competition from her peers. In addition to her impressive musical talent, she has also garnered widespread acclaim for her sharp business acumen, which has enabled her to accumulate a substantial fortune and cultivate a devoted fanbase. Despite her success, however, not everyone has been won over by her recent performance at the Super Bowl Halftime show. That being said, it seems Shaquille O’Neal came to Rihanna’s defence.
The headline performer for this year’s halftime show was music icon Rihanna, who made a triumphant return to the stage. She treated the audience to renditions of some of her biggest hits, including “B**ch Better Have My Money,” “Diamonds,” and “Work.”
In addition to her vocal prowess, Rihanna’s recent Super Bowl Halftime show performance was particularly noteworthy because she performed while pregnant. This was the second time she had been pregnant, having given birth to her first child in May of the previous year. Her ability to deliver such a captivating performance while carrying a child was a testament to her talent and resilience, further cementing her status as one of the most iconic and inspiring figures in the music industry.
While speaking on his The Big Podcast with Shaq featuring Nischelle Turner and Candace Parker, Shaquille O’Neal defended Rihanna’s performance and simply blasted her critics.
“She did a wonderful job,” Shaq said. “She’s pregnant. She blessed it. She didn’t fall. Just leave it there. All you superstars that’s disrespecting and causing beef … shut it up.
If she was my woman and I seen one of you superstars do that,” Shaq said, “I’m gonna have to get at you.” “Rappers. Presidential candidates. I’m gonna have to get at you. Leave her alone.”
Even Kodak Black thought the performance was garbage and WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg thought the same. Fans will continue to talk about her performance in the coming weeks and that’s all that matters right now.
