Cardi B put a lot of effort into becoming one of the top female rappers in the hip-hop community. She is also a controversial figure for a good reason. That being said, she and her husband Offset are inseparable. And now the duo has launched a new line of merchandise, following the success of their special McDonald’s collaboration.
The Cardi B & Offset Meal was introduced by the couple on February 12 in time for Valentine’s Day. The meal, which included a cheeseburger, a Quarter Pounder with cheese, barbecue sauce, large fries, an apple pie, a large Hi-C, and a large Coke, was first advertised in a 60-second commercial that aired during Super Bowl LVII pre-game events.
A clothing and accessory line influenced by their love story has been released on the power couple’s official website, building on the success of their collaboration with McDonald’s. The collection includes a variety of hoodies with long sleeves, crewneck tees and sweatshirts, dolphin shorts, and headgear in a vibrant color theme of bubble gum pink, red, mustard yellow, forest green, and tie-dye.
The merch, which ranges in price from $38 to $68, is designed with various graphics and catchy quotes that display the duo’s playful side. Offset teased the unveiling with the tweet, “Forever [heart emjoi] Day Drip #ValentinesDay,” earlier this week.
A “nice buns” t-shirt ($38), a pullover hoodie with the slogan “my dream date looks like this” ($68), and a crewneck graphic t-shirt with the phrase “apple of my eye” that is available in maroon and forest green ($38) are few of the standouts.
The announcement of the official launch follows Cardi B and Offset’s surprise appearance earlier this week at a McDonald’s in the middle of New York City to celebrate the release of their collaborative meal. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get more updates.
