Elon Musk certainly needs no introduction. He might be the wealthiest man in the world, but he is not without his fair share of controversies. In fact, Musk recently reacted to Meta launching a paid certification service, which Elon Musk started on Twitter.
Mark Zuckerberg announced on Instagram on Sunday that a subscription service is currently being tested by Facebook’s parent company, Meta, which would enable Instagram and Facebook users to pay for verification. The service is called “Meta Verified” and is set to launch in Australia and New Zealand this week, with other countries to follow shortly.
For a monthly fee of $11.99 on the web or $14.99 on iOS, users will be able to receive the benefits of the service, which include extra protection against impersonation accounts and direct access to customer support.
Elon Musk took to Twitter and made it clear that he believed Zuckerberg’s Meta would eventually start launching a paid certification service. Smith simply stated that it was inevitable.
Elon Musk is certain that the Earth’s population is collapsing, which is why he is making every effort to father as many children as possible. Regardless, many people do not like Musk’s stance on a lot of things, and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
