Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Decide Not to Hire Nanny After Welcoming Their Son

Rihanna is one of the most ever-trending rappers in the industry. It appears that the couple is now preparing for the arrival of their next family member. Rihanna, however, recently asserted that she and A$AP Rocky opted not to hire a nanny after the birth of their first child.

For the first few weeks after her son’s birth, Rihanna didn’t hire a babysitter. The rapper A$AP Rocky and the Barbadian singer admitted in a recent interview that they were the only ones responsible for raising their child.

Rihanna said that she finds the process of having children to be profound. She also added that they were unable to sleep at those times because of the baby’s fuss. The rapper and singer are currently expecting their second child, and the news went viral after the singer flaunted her growing baby belly during a recent Super Bowl performance.

In an interview with British Vogue, Rihanna talked about taking time off of her job and other obligations to care for her baby when he was born. The rapper A$AP Rocky and the singer, who hasn’t revealed their name, have been together for nine months and have a toddler together.

“We came home, cold turkey, had no one. It was just us as parents and our baby.”

According to Daily Mail, the couple made the decision to forego hiring a babysitter in the initial months to take care of their new baby. However, deciding without adding more help had its own drawbacks.

“Those first days are insane. You don’t sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to… you’re a zombie for the most part.”

Rihanna described how the baby’s crying had kept her and her partner up at night on numerous occasions, particularly during his first few days at home. Rihanna also mentioned how she still finds the entire process surreal and how she has learned various lessons from her pregnancy experience.

“Essentially, from one person I became two. You walk into the hospital as a couple and leave as a family of three. It’s nuts.”

Before developing into lovers, Rihanna and Rocky had a protracted platonic connection for several years. In November 2020, People reported that the couple was in a relationship. Since then, they have been seen out together frequently and traveling.
On May 19, 2022, their child was born, five months after she flaunted her big belly in a picture session.

“Rihanna is doing well. They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom.”

Rihanna is expecting a second kid despite the fact that her first child has not yet reached the milestone of turning one. The rapper has been celebrating his paternity and previously discussed in an interview with Dazed magazine the type of parent he aspires to be and the values he intends to instill in his children.
