Brock Lesnar is one of the most successful and accomplished professional wrestlers of all time. During his two stints with WWE, he dominated his opponents and demonstrated his immense star power, cementing his legacy as The Beast Incarnate. His looks truly set him apart from many other pro wrestlers. That being said, it seems Kurt Angle thinks Lesnar looks like a crazy German nazi.
After his time in WWE’s Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental territory, Brock Lesnar made his highly anticipated debut on the main roster in 2002. During his initial run with WWE, he achieved immense success and set a record by winning the WWE Championship in an incredibly short amount of time.
At the conclusion of 2002, Brock Lesnar had already become one of the most prominent and recognizable figures in WWE, having conquered legends like The Rock, The Undertaker, and Hulk Hogan. His next major opponent was Kurt Angle, and the two faced off in a legendary match at WrestleMania XIX.
While speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle discussed No Way Out 2003, which saw their rivalry continue to build to WrestleMania. At the time, Lesnar was very over with fans, which puzzled Angle. In fact, Angle expressed confusion over how Brock Lesnar became a popular “babyface”, as he described him as a “miserable” and visually resembling a “freaking crazy German Nazi.”
“Brock looks like a freaking crazy German Nazi, okay. He has heel written all over him. There’s no babyface Brock. I don’t know how he ended up being a baby face, because this guy doesn’t like people, he doesn’t like life. He’s just miserable. But you know what? He’s actually a really good guy, I’m not gonna lie to you. But Brock is not the babyface type of guy. He’s definitely a heel.”
Brock Lesnar’s match with Bobby Lashley at Elimination Chamber ended in disqualification as well. We’ll have to wait and see what WWE has in store for the Beast Incarnate.
