Chris Brown has established himself as one of the best artists in the Hip-Hop industry and has managed to keep himself relevant over the years, despite being a very controversial figure. That being said, Brown decided to show down a claim that he doesn’t allow black women in VIP.
Despite all his controversies, there is no denying that Chris Brown certainly has a lot of talent for the music game. On top of that, he is quite outspoken and never afraid to speak his mind.
For many years. rumors suggested that Brown has a skin color preference when it comes to the women he dates and allows around him. He was previously accused of keeping dark-skinned women away from his VIP sections at nightclubs.
On Saturday (Feb. 18), a woman shared a video on social media that showed her and her friends claiming they are turned away at the VIP club, which is nothing new.
“We were supposed to go see Chris Brown. We got there and there were thousands of girls lined up there. Like, thousands of girls. And they’re not getting in. We were supposed to be on the VIP guest list.
One of the woman’s friends stepped in and claimed they were denied entry due to their color. “They told us ‘No Black girls allowed,'” the friend stated. “You’re handpicking these White women.”
On February 19th, Chris Brown took to his social media and decided to address the accusations and made it clear they were all false and paid no heed to the legitimacy of what the women said.
“STOP IT” he captioned an image of himself in a VIP section with Black women around him. “I have Black queens all around me. THOP REACHING.”
He later reacted on Twitter, sharing a video of the woman from the accusing video clarifying that their rant was not directly aimed at Chris Brown but the venue he was at.
“That video had absolutely nothing to do with Chris Brown,” she explained. “The only reason why his name was mentioned was because we were going to a club where he was hosting at.”
Chris Brown has found himself defending himself on social media for the second time in less than a week. Last week, he expressed frustration and lashed out after people began to bring up his 2009 assault on Rihanna in response to the announcement of his collaboration with Chloe Bailey. This latest incident is just one of many instances in which Brown has had to address his past actions and attempt to move on from the controversies that have plagued his career.
