Mike Tyson Believes Francis Ngannou Has A Chance Against Tyson Fury

Francis Ngannou was regarded as one of the best heavyweights in the UFC for a very long time. In March 2021, Ngannou finally defeated Stipe Miocic to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion cementing his legacy as a UFC GOAT. Mike Tyson also believes Ngannou has a chance against Fury, now that he is no longer part of the UFC.

Francis Ngannou later stated that he did not feel respected or valued as a free agent in the UFC and that he had even rejected a lucrative offer in order to negotiate a better contract with the company. He felt that his contribution and achievements were not being acknowledged by the UFC and that led to his decision to part ways.

As previously reported, Francis Ngannou officially parted ways with the UFC. Right after that, Dana White claimed that Ngannou turned down a contract that would have made history in the UFC.

Last year, Tyson Fury successfully defended his WBC and The Ring Heavyweight titles against Dillian Whyte in a solid match. Afterwards, Francis Ngannou came out and they seemingly confirmed a huge superfight.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Mike Tyson was asked about Francis Ngannou facing off against Tyson Fury. Mike Tyson made it clear that he believes Ngannou has a fighting chance against Fury.

Anything is possible.

He also revealed his plans following his UFC departure. We’ll have to see when Francis Ngannou will duke it out with Tyson Fury in a battle for the ages in the future.
