Vince McMahon’s Name Spotted In WrestleMania 39 Advertisement

Vince McMahon generated significant media attention in the past year due to his involvement in a hush money scandal that was closely monitored by the professional wrestling community. After a long hiatus, Vince McMahon came back and usurped his throne in WWE, becoming the Executive Chairman of WWE. Now that he is back, it seems McMahon’s name was spotted in an advertisement for WrestleMania 39.

Vince McMahon’s comeback was largely so that he could set up WWE for a potential sale. This is something that has been a huge topic of discussion for numerous years in the pro wrestling world.

WWE has recently released an advertisement for the match between Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. In the video clip, graphics for both Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes appear as movie posters, going along with the Hollywood theme for WrestleMania 39.

However, fans have noticed something interesting about the poster. As seen below, the “directed by” credit at the bottom of the list of credits states “Directed by Vince McMahon”.

This is not a legitimate movie, but fans had been wondering how McMahon would be involved following his return. As previously reported, McMahon had input on Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn’s storyline. Regardless, we’ll have to see whether Vince McMahon will end up selling WWE in the future.
