Kodak Black Declines To Work With Drake Over Album With 21 Savage

Kodak Black and 21 Savage don’t have the friendliest of relationships. This has resulted in them bickering online over who’s the best rapper among them. Drake has landed himself in this fight by doing a whole album with 21. Now, Kodak is reluctant to do any future projects with Drizzy.

Kodal was talking on Instagram live with Rap Tv where he mentioned not intending to work with Drake. The Florida rapper was planning to drop a whole project with the 6 God. However, Drizzy’s recent album “Her Loss” with 21 Savage turned out to be a deal breaker for Yak.

“I had told Drake I ain’t wanna do no collab actually. No songs or no album, ’cause we supposed to been did a whole album together before him and lil buddy did that shit. I had told him I wanted to wait, like 2023, after February.”

Kodak has always teased an imminent collaboration with Drake since last year. However, it has been more than six months since he first leaked his work and none of the work has materialized yet. He claims to have a lot of music together with Drake however, his skirmish with 21 has led him to not release it.

Me and Drake, we got so much music. It’s really on, like, whenever bruh might feel like he be ready and stuff. Or when he be like, ‘We gon’ drop the album, we gon’ do this or we gon’ do [that].’ It’s really on him. We got a lot of songs, though.”

Not just Kodak, but other rappers also seem to have problems with Her Loss. N.O.R.E. claimed that Future had issues with the album. He worried that it may eclipse the 2015 song What a Time to Be Alive that he and Drake collaborated on.

Fans aren’t so sure that Kodak and Drizzy won’t collide in the studio once again. As formerly mentioned, they’ve publicly praised one another’s work. Even if Kodak is not happy with Drake’s album with 21 Savage, he might be later inclined to work with Drizzy.
