The Undertaker recently disclosed details about the time Andre the Giant received a sucker punch from former WWE star Blackjack Mulligan at a bar.
Standing at a towering height of seven-foot-four and weighing in at 520 pounds, Andre The Giant was undoubtedly one of the most formidable wrestlers in history. Yet, his larger-than-life persona extended far beyond the ring, as his legendary tales often centered on his extraordinary alcohol intake and fascinating personal life.
While speaking on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, The Undertaker talked about the time Blackjack Mulligan sucked punched Andre The Giant at a bar, which resulted in Andre beating him up.
“Everybody had to keep their street cred. If you were a tough guy, you had to be a tough guy, right? So, Mulligan, evidently, goes up to Andre – Andre’s sitting at the bar drinking – and just hauls off and suckerpunches him. Wham. And he had somebody with him – I don’t remember who was with him – but Andre ended up beating the both of them, beating the c**p out of them. That was no easy task.”
Andre The Giant also once no sold Jake Roberts’ snake biting him. Andre will forever remain one of the most beloved pro wrestlers of all time and his stories continue to inspire many and that’s all that matters.
