Ray Buffer rose to prominence after appearing in guest roles on television and movies in 2004, including a stint as a Stage Manager on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Last year, he was caught stealing comic books and now it seems he has been charged for his offence.
As previously reported, a San Diego comic book store has accused actor Ray Buffer of stealing several expensive comics, as he was said to have made off with $600 worth of comic books.
According to TMZ, a representative for the San Diego City Attorney stated that Ray Buffer has been charged with one count of misdemeanor petty theft over the October 2022 incident.
It was said that the actor pled not guilty at his arraignment in January, and a further court hearing is scheduled next week. Another comic shop in L.A. County reported that they had also captured footage of Ray trying to steal comics from their store. The owner was caught on camera kicking him out of the store for his attempted theft.
With more than 100 credits to his name in his acting career, it is certainly shameful to see Ray Buffer doing such misdeeds. Regardless, we hope he never does something like this again.
