Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, has taken the music industry by storm since bursting onto the scene in 2017 with her hit single “Bodak Yellow.” The Bronx-born rapper has since become a cultural icon, known for her unapologetic personality, empowering lyrics, and bold fashion choices.
the world-renowned rapper Cardi B found herself embroiled in controversy after an altercation at a strip club in 2018. Following the incident, Cardi B was ordered to complete 15 days of community service as part of the plea deal she reached in September.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper recently took to Twitter to let her fans know how her community service is going by sharing snaps of her luxe outfits before reporting for duty.
“Day whatever the f**k of community service……….Obey the law !!!!,” Cardi tweeted.
The captivating image in question captured the starlet draped in a sultry skintight black tank top, paired with matching cutout leggings from her own coveted Cardi B x Reebok collection. Adding a touch of elegance to her edgy ensemble, she donned striking white-colored Maison Margiela Tabi Boots, accentuating her every stride. To top off her stunning look, the award-winning artist flaunted a Chanel beanie, exuding a level of glamour that only she can effortlessly pull off.
A mere twenty-four hours had passed, and yet once again, her impeccable fashion sense commanded attention. Donning a ravishing blush-colored bomber jacket paired with sleek black leggings, she exuded effortless chicness. And not one to shy away from bold choices, she elevated her look with a pair of striking pink Tabis and a supersized Chanel flap bag.
“On my way to serve some community service time …..DONT COMMIT CRIMES!” she wrote.
The Chart-topping rapper was sentenced to community service after admitting she threw a hookah at two bartender sisters before ordering a buddy to attack one of them for allegedly sleeping with her husband, Offset. Cardi failed to complete the community service by the deadline which resulted in the judge pushing the deadline back to March 1.
