Kanye West Rumored To Be Returning To Adidas

Kanye West received a great deal of attention and criticism, particularly for his racially insensitive and anti-Semitic remarks last year. As a result, many well-known companies severed their ties with him, including TJ MAXX, Adidas, and Balenciaga. However, now it appears that Adidas and Kanye are back together again. 

West was in the middle of one of his anti-Semitic rants where he praised leaders like Adolf Hitler. Adidas was not going to accept this, so they ultimately decided to sever their connection. This subsequently gave rise to news suggesting that Adidas owned the Yeezy catalog and could do whatever they wanted with it.

Unfortunately, this left Adidas with unpurchased Yeezy shoes worth $520 million. Adidas can keep selling Yeezy designs even without the Yeezy logo, but the $520 million of inventory in question still had Ye’s emblems. The brand was consequently stuck with the inventory, which led to reports that the business would lose more than $1 billion in revenue this year. Adidas has therefore been desperately looking for ways to recover its prior investment. As a result, some very intriguing rumors have started to spread on social media.

Adidas and Kanye are reportedly back together, based on numerous tweets that are currently trending on Twitter. It’s important to keep in mind that neither Adidas nor Kanye West has made any specific references to such a thing.

However, some sources have told journalists like Complex’s Brendan Dunne that an agreement has been in the works. It appears that this rumored agreement is only temporary at this time. This agreement simply means that Ye is allowing Adidas to sell off the remaining inventory of Yeezys.
