Kodak Black Wanted By Police for Recently Violating Drug Policy

Kodak Black is facing an arrest warrant after allegedly violating his bail conditions by failing a drug test earlier this month. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, a judge signed off on the warrant in Kodak’s name on Thursday, and it was filed in Broward County court on Friday. The documents state that Kodak is to be taken into custody if any sheriff’s deputies encounter him.

The reason for the warrant is that a judge found that Kodak had violated his bail conditions twice in recent weeks. On February 3, the agency responsible for his random drug testing claims that he was a no-show for a screening and failed to submit a sample that day. On February 8, the same agency says that Kodak did submit a sample but it allegedly came back positive for traces of fentanyl. The amount of the drug found in his system is unclear.

Due to these alleged violations, a judge has authorized authorities to arrest Kodak. If he is caught, there are additional orders to hold him without bond until his next hearing in his 2020 case where he faces charges for possession of a controlled substance without prescription and trafficking. These charges stem from a July 2020 incident where police found 31 oxycodone pills in Kodak’s car during a traffic stop in Ft. Lauderdale. He posted $75,000 bail and was released with a condition to keep his urine free from illegal substances.

Kodak’s legal troubles could have serious consequences for his career and personal life. If he is convicted on the drug charges, he could face years in prison and significant fines. Additionally, violating bail conditions can result in a loss of trust from the court, which could impact any future legal proceedings.
