Ray Liotta’s unexpected death in the spring of last year has left the world in deep sorrow. His contributions to films like Goodfellas made him a legend in the entertainment world. With that being said, nearly a year after his passing, Ray Liotta received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, and his daughter Karsen Liotta was the one present to accept it.
On February 24, Karsen was accompanied by Taron Egerton, her co-star from “Ray’s Black Bird,” as well as Elizabeth Banks, who directed her in “Cocaine Bear,” during the event held in Los Angeles. “I’m so touched to be accepting this honor on behalf of my dad. I couldn’t be more proud of him,” Karsen said.
“He was a one of a kind actor and the best friend, brother and father anyone could have asked for. I lucked out with you. If you have a Ray in your life, you’re lucky. I love you so much. Thank you for your work and the imprint you left on me and all of those who love you. Everyone deserves a Ray in their life.”
In May 2022, two weeks after Ray passed away at the age of 67, Karen posted a heartfelt remembrance of her father on Instagram. Karen captioned a cute picture of Ray holding her when she was a young child, “Those who knew him, loved him. You are the best Dad anyone could ask for. I love you. Thank you for everything.”
Ray shares Karsen with his former spouse, Micelle Grace, to whom he was married between 1997 and 2004. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get the latest updates.
