Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a renowned figure in the world of professional wrestling and maintains a strong connection to the industry despite his flourishing career in Hollywood. He even has his own show called ‘Young Rock,’ which included the WWE Universal Title. Now it seems the reason for the easter egg has been revealed.

Brian Gewirtz is a well-known figure in the world of professional wrestling, with a long and accomplished career as a writer, creative consultant, producer, and author. He is perhaps best known for his close friendship and business partnership with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, as well as his role as an executive producer and writer for the hit TV series “Young Rock.”

In fact, Gewirtz’s involvement with the show is so extensive that he even appears as a character in the flashback timelines that explore The Rock’s early life and career. In a recent interview, Gewirtz shared his insights on the show’s season finale, as well as his thoughts on a range of other topics related to the wrestling industry.

In the upcoming third season of “Young Rock,” fans can expect to see The Rock trying to negotiate a coffee deal with a difficult business partner named Gjelgjiughm. The season finale will focus on The Rock’s budding acting career during the Attitude Era, particularly his highly acclaimed appearance on “Saturday Night Live.” As the season comes to a close, viewers will see The Rock reflecting on his accomplishments and the challenges he faced in making the transition from wrestling to Hollywood.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc, Brian Gewirtz talked about The WWE Universal Championship being part of the Prime Minister’s collection in the show. Gewirtz explained why it was in the show.

Yeah, I thought that was hilarious because I saw Twitter explode with the Universal Title and everyone jumping to these conclusions, and everyone’s saying “The Rock wouldn’t put that universal title in if it wasn’t for …” Basically we stepped in to set that day and saw all that stuff laid out, so maybe our set designer or props have some knowledge that we don’t. [Laughs] I know former referee, Marty Elias, who was working with Chava Guerrero, as far as our wrestling coordination and stunts and stuff like that, he had a lot to do with getting a lot of those props in that room.

We just stepped in there and it was like, “Wow, they got everything in here.” Didn’t think twice about it, we shot our scenes. I did make sure to put my book in the display case talking to the producers. [Laughs] They were cool with that, but that was really the only piece of memorabilia that was strategically placed, as far as I know. Everything else, we stepped in the day of and marveled at it, felt kind of jealous because I wanted to take home the Wrestle Fest game, but everything else just happened to be there.

The season finale of “Young Rock” will air at 8:30 pm Eastern /7:30 Central on NBC. We will have to wait and see how the final episode of this season will be reviewed by fans and critics alike.
