A$AP Rocky first gained recognition for his distinctive blend of southern trap and east coast boom bap on his debut mixtape, Live. Love. A$AP., which catapulted him to the forefront of the hip-hop scene. Since then, Rocky has continued to push boundaries with his genre-bending sound, while also making a name for himself in the fashion world.
The Harlem rapper’s fashion choices had heads turning at Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2023 show during Milan Fashion Week debuting his new look. A$AP Rocky who is the face of Gucci’s newest campaign for his Guilty fragrance line showed up to the event with the Gucci logo braided into his hair.
The rapper showed up with the iconic “G” logo woven into the scalp of his head as well as the left side of his head.
This comes after he was unveiled as one of the faces of Gucci’s Guilty campaign along with actors Julia Garner and Elliot Page. The campaign was shot by photographer Glen Luchford and shows Rocky posing in a blouse with a large flower brooch.
This wasn’t the first campaign to feature the rapper. The 34-year-old was also the face of Gucci’s tailoring campaign in 2020 alongside Tyler, The Creator and Iggy Pop.
Given his pledge of allegiance to Gucci, this probably won’t be the last time that Rocky fronts a Gucci campaign. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News as we bring you similar stories.
