‘Smallville’ Actor John Schneider Misses Late Wife Alicia Allain ‘Desperately’

John Schneider and Alicia Allain married on September 25, 2019 in an intimate wedding in the barn at John Schneider Studios in Holden, Louisiana. Unfortunately, Allain died on Tuesday aged 53 at home surrounded by family. Though no official cause of death was given Schneider had previously spoken about his wife’s battle with breast cancer on Fox & Friends. Following his wife’s passing John Schneider is “desperately” missing her.

After the loss of his wife, Alicia Allain, “Smallville” star John Schneider “desperately” misses her. In a Facebook post on Sunday, the actor revealed his mourning journey writing that he has “no words” to express his loss. Schneider also posted a throwback picture of himself and Allain kissing on Saturday.

“For me, this is what love looks like,” he wrote. The country artist earlier wrote an open letter sharing his “unimaginable sorrow” two days after his partner died of breast cancer at the age of 53.

“Grief is much too small a word,” he wrote last Thursday. “I’ve heard it said that ‘with great love comes great sorrow.’ I had no idea what that meant until now.” Schneider announced Allain’s demise to his followers on Wednesday, saying she passed the day before.

“My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus,” he wrote at the time. “Please respect our privacy during this time of grief. Please do not ask any questions. If you have any pictures of us and our obvious love and adoration for each other, please post them below. Lastly… hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did,” he concluded.

The pair had previously been married, with Allain sharing daughter Jessica Ann with ex-husband Patrick Dollard. Schneider married Tawny Little and Elvira “Elly” Schneider in 1983 and 1993, respectively, and has a son Chasen, and daughters Karis and Leah with the latter.
