Ronda Rousey has enjoyed a successful career after formally joining WWE in 2017. The 36-year-old’s competitive background in MMA is shared by her husband Travis Browne. While he does not have any contract with the company, he has attended many of her WWE matches to showcase his extensive support, but it is interesting to note that he was once banned from attending WWE shows.
Ronda Rousey was scheduled to face Dana Brooke on a 2019 RAW episode. Rousey was the RAW Women’s champion at the time and this was a title match scheduled for the red brand’s show that night.
Even after winning the match and keeping the title, Ronda Rousey kept Dana Brooke in the submission arm-bar position. The two ladies had to be separated by security, but that did not stop the Baddest Woman on Earth from attacking everybody who got in her path.
Prior to lifting Ronda Rousey over the barrier and away from security, Travis Browne, who was sitting in the front row, assaulted a WWE representative. In a short while, the multiple-time Women’s Champion posted an angry message on Instagram, claiming that her spouse had been barred from RAW.
“@wwe can fire me whenever they want. I’ll gladly go home and live happily ever after with the love of my life @travisbrownemma. They can’t control me with this job. •
@wwe can assign as many security they want to follow me, they can’t control me with hired goons. •
@wwe can go ahead and fine me however much they want. They can’t control me with money. •
You’re all lucky my husband @travisbrownemma was there to stop me when I was just getting started. Now that he’s been banned from #Raw, your luck has run out.
