Live streaming is all the rage right now. Everyone is rushing to start their own live-streaming channel on platforms like Twitch and YouTube. Even celebrities and YouTube personalities are deciding to go live. Several Twitch streamers have achieved mainstream success over the years like Ludwig, Ninja, Nickmercs, Pokimane, etc.
However, one Twitch streamer stands head and shoulders above the lot. Kai Cenat recently became the platform’s top streamer. This prompted Drake to urge Twitch to pay the streamer $50 million.
“@twitch motivate the kids send him 50M,” wrote Drake
This comes after Cenat became the most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time in February. He currently has 300k subscribers on Twitch placing him ahead of popular streamers like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Ludwig Ahgren.
Cenat’s rise to the top began after he started live streaming himself playing video games like Grand Theft Auto V. Drake’s shoutout shouldn’t be surprising as he is known to show love for other online personalities like Druski and Shiggy.
Considering the number of average viewers Kai Cenat brings to the platform every time he goes live, maybe Twitch should consider paying him $50 million. Stay tuned to Thirsty For News as we bring you similar stories.
