John Cena is one of the few WWE superstars to have made a significant impact in the world of professional wrestling. That being said, Cena is not without his fair share of flaws. This includes his habit of being too loud in the ring and it seems he was criticized for the same recently.
The Leader of Cenation was not always interested in becoming a professional wrestler and certainly had a long journey ahead of him before he could realize his potential as a professional wrestler.
Throughout his career, John Cena was often criticized for his limited in-ring moveset, which earned him the moniker ‘five moves of doom.’ However, over the years, the 16-time world champion has demonstrated significant improvement in his wrestling ability and has become a skilled storyteller in the ring. Despite his accomplishments, Cena still faces criticism from some circles for being too loud during matches.
Heath Slater recently appeared on Wrestling Shoot Interviews and shared that out of all the wrestlers he had worked with during his 14-year tenure in WWE, John Cena was the loudest in the ring.
Slater and Cena had a feud during Slater’s time with The Nexus, and Slater recalled how Cena was notorious for breaking kayfabe by making mid-match calls and criticized him for the same.
“John Cena! The first eight rows hear him! I’m dead serious! Even when we did Nexus, bro, 12 years ago, you can see him in the ring,” revealed Slater. “‘Hold on! Hold it!’ And we’re just like, ‘Dude, we know, sh**! You’re telling everybody!’ But really, he talks loud!”
John Cena was last seen on the December 30th edition of Friday Night Smackdown. He is set to appear on Monday Night RAW this month as well. We’ll have to see how his appearance will turn out.
