Grand Theft Auto 6 Release Date Revealed In Leaks

Grand Theft Auto or GTA has been the most influential open-world game in the last 20 years. It has seen immense success throughout the years across all its iterations. Now, the highly anticipated sixth installment is all set to return and some leaks have revealed the release dates.

According to a prominent insider, Tez2, the long-awaited next game in the GTA series will be revealed sometime this year. It is most likely during the holiday window, and release sometime during the holiday of 2024. However, there still aren’t specific days for the release, likely because Rockstar Games haven’t decided yet.

“Their aimed-always-changing-not-set-in-stone deadline is holiday 2024. Which has been pushed back multiple times the past few years. Unfortunately, it could slip into early 2025 as well.”

Taking to GTAFORUMS the leaker talked about the uncertainty about the release of the project. GTA 6 has been pushed time and time again due to several refactoring instances of the game. If things don’t go as planned for Rockstar Games, the game can be postponed as far back as 2025.

“I personally see an announcement as a given this year. I don’t think the upper management is in a position to delay further to holiday 2025/2026. Cutting more portions of the game to package into DLCs to release later on may be sustainable for management than delaying further.”

Even though the gaming org has been strict with its deadline for the game, certain uncalculated problems arise from time to time. Internal back las in Activision Blizzard along with management issues in Rockstar Games has plagued the release of the game. Even after quite a few setbacks, the company is making sure that what it put out turns out to be an absolute masterpiece.

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released for PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, while the exact date is yet unknown. However, a PC version won’t likely be offered at launch, which is bad news for some of us. But when it does, we can be certain that the gaming community will erupt in happiness.
