Hayden Panettiere is feeling like a new woman after undergoing breast reduction surgery in 2022, almost eight years after giving birth to her daughter, Kaya.

Panettiere discussed her surgery in a recent interview with Women’s Health for their April 2023 cover story, saying that she still didn’t feel like her body belonged to her after nearly eight years since giving birth to her daughter Kaya.

Panettiere explained that she sought the procedure as a way to boost her confidence and that she believes there is nothing wrong with making changes to improve one’s confidence. She said, “My confidence is back.”

“My body still didn’t feel like it belonged to me. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with somebody who wants to tweak something if it makes them feel more confident. That’s all I have to say about it. My confidence is back.”

Panettiere battled addiction and postpartum depression, with Klitschko eventually obtaining full custody of their daughter following the couple’s breakup. She has since sought treatment and got sober and returned to work on “Scream VI,” which was recently released in theaters this Friday. The actress reprised her role as Kirby Reed in the film, stating that the character’s experiences with human trauma and change are relatable to her own struggles.

“In therapy, I kept wanting to go back to the beginning of the period of time where I was really happy and health. She has that human trauma, and it’s changed her. That’s something I can obviously relate to.”

As fans of Hayden Panettiere, we’re happy to hear that the actress has regained her confidence after undergoing a breast reduction surgery. We’re also thrilled to see her back on the big screen in “Scream VI” and look forward to seeing her in future projects.
