Solo Sikoa has been making waves since his debut on the WWE main roster last Fall. The Bloodline has been booked as an unstoppable monster in his matches and has been well-protected since his move to SmackDown from NXT. However, at a recent live event in Kitchener, Ontario, Solo Sikoa suffered his first singles loss on the main roster, losing to Kevin Owens via disqualification.

While the loss may not be a big deal in the grand scheme of things, it is significant because it marks the first “L” on his main roster record. It’s also worth noting that Solo Sikoa has had a couple of matches at live events go to a “No Contest” in recent months.

Solo Sikoa is still highly regarded by WWE management despite the loss, and there are big plans for him after WrestleMania. WrestlingNews.co reports that Solo Sikoa is seen as a wrestler who could eventually become a main eventer in WWE.

The DQ win for Kevin Owens at the live event in Kitchener also shows how much WWE is protecting him. It’s not official yet on TV, but rumors are circulating that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn may be reuniting and challenging The Usos for the World Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania. Those plans seem to remain on track.
