During a show in Las Vegas, David Blaine informed the audience that he had sustained a significant injury over the weekend. Despite this setback, he did not give up and instead sought help to persevere.
According to TMZ, the renowned magician was putting on a magic show at the Resorts World hotel when he attempted a stunt at the start of the performance. He leapt from a scaffolding structure that was nine stories high, landing in a foam pit below. However, he immediately expressed discomfort and complained of pain.
Eyewitnesses reported that David Blaine used his microphone to announce to the audience that he had dislocated his shoulder. He attempted to have crew members assist him on stage, but it was apparent that he was in significant pain and experiencing difficulty.
When the stagehands were unable to rectify the situation, David Blaine implemented a backup plan. He asked if any doctors in the audience could offer their assistance, and several individuals stepped forward. They took turns attempting to relocate his shoulder, and after some time, they were successful in their efforts.
Despite the setback earlier in the show, witnesses reported that David Blaine took another brief break later on but ultimately returned to the stage and delivered a strong performance.
Ticket holders were reportedly grateful that he persevered and completed the show. It was also noted that he was fine after the incident and he was able to carry on with the show.
