Rihanna undeniably delivered a show-stopping performance as the headliner for this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. With that being said, some residents at the Arcadia Senior Living Bowling Green in Kentucky recreated a section of Rihanna’s remarkable performance. And now, Rihanna herself and Jay-Z have sent flowers to the senior center while applauding their effort in re-creating her show.
The video went so viral that even Rihanna and Jay-Z noticed the video’s success and amazed the senior living facility with enormous rose bouquets. The assisted living facility took to its Facebook page to post pictures of the lovely gift. The post from February 27 had a caption that read,
“Even JAY-Z giving us some love!! #TikTokStars 🌹🎶”
The large bouquet of red roses also came with a note that read, “We love the TikTok here at Roc Nation!” and is signed by the hip-hop tycoon. However, the center revealed that Rihanna also surprised the group a few days after the rapper sent his special gift. The caption for the post from March 4 stated,
“The moment we’ve hoped for, Rihanna has delivered! 🤍🌹🎶 #TikTokStars Roc Nation”
All of the residents dressed in white for the viral video to resemble Rihanna’s dancers. They line up next to one another as a remix of the singer’s song “Rude Boy” plays, then they shuffle to the left and right to reveal the person in line behind them. However, one resident is then seen holding a microphone and singing and dancing as the line moves to the end, where she is styled in red like Rihanna.
The viral TikTok video had millions of views and thousands of positive comments. It’s lovely to see how music can bring people of all ages together, and how the residents at the senior center had so much fun while creating the video. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get the latest updates.
