Jason Kelce has returned to the Eagles. Naturally, this made fans very happy. He marked the occasion in typical Kelce fashion by taking a huge shot with Philadelphia’s general manager.
On Monday morning, the All-Pro player, who is known for his partying, announced that he would be returning for his 13th NFL season, declaring in a statement, “I ain’t f***ing done yet!”
Later, he shared how he told Howie Roseman about his decision, and it involved a lot of alcohol. After embracing the 35-year-old, Roseman poured him a shot of mezcal, which they both downed with ease.
It’s no surprise that they celebrated with alcohol, considering Kelce’s contribution to the team. He is considered one of the greatest offensive linemen in Eagles’ history. However, many believed he was going to retire for good after the Eagles lost to Kansas City in the Super Bowl.
Kelce stated in his announcement on Monday that discussions with his wife and “numerous other friends and family” led him to return to the field. There is no information yet on how he celebrated the news with his brother, Travis Kelce, but it’s likely that they indulged in some alcohol during their conversation as well.
