John Cena will always be credited as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. However, The Cenation has successfully moved to the realm of filmmaking while also keeping parts of his WWE origins intact. He hopes to leave a similar legacy in Hollywood as he did in WWE. Cena has become a part of the Fast and Furious franchise during its last film and recently expressed his excitement for the next one.
John Cena took to Twitter to give his thoughts about the franchise that took over two decades to carve out the universe of street racing, heists, and family. He posted about the same as the official Fast Saga account announced the ticket sales for the tenth film.
“This family has continued to grow over the last 20 years…. From anyone who played a part in its creation to those around the 🌎 who’ve enjoyed it. Continually grateful to be a part of the Fast family!! #FastX.”
The Fast and Furious series has become one of Hollywood’s most lucrative franchises. The worldwide public has been enthralled by Dominic Torretto and his family’s escapades as they engage in fast-paced combat with numerous foes.
John Cena debuted in the ninth chapter of the Fast series, dubbed “Fast 9” in 2021. He made his debut in the franchise as the villain “Jakob Torretto,” the estranged brother of Dominic Torretto, played by Vin Diesel, who sought revenge on him while attempting to rule the globe with a military force of his own.
Fast X will see the return of the original cast along with some other important characters featured through many installments. Moreover, the bad side will be taken over by Jason Momoa, who reportedly will play the son of the Fast Five film villain and try to take down Dominic Torretto and his family. Tickets for the Fast X movie are on sale now with the release date set for May 19, 2023.
