Chet Hanks is the son of not one, but two famous parents and despite this, his life isn’t always the easy life people imagine he has. Chet has had his fair share of Hollywood privileges as the son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. He was also called mentally disturbed by Eric André and has now blasted him for the same.
On Tuesday, the son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, known for his outspoken nature, took to his Instagram Stories to deliver a lengthy diatribe against Eric André. This was after the comedian labeled him as “emotionally disturbed.”
“had no idea you were such a p–s 🤣,
Chet, aged 32 and shirtless, proceeded to record a video in a selfie-style format. In the video, he asserted that he had “outshined” Eric André, aged 39, during his appearance on “The Eric André Show.”
The star of “Your Honor” also defended his actions on the set of the Adult Swim sketch comedy series by stating that he was merely attempting to “match the energy” of Eric André’s unconventional and provocative guests, who he described as “weird, outlandish, trolls.”
Chet didn’t hold back in his criticism of André, claiming that the “soft” stand-up comedian appeared “genuinely nervous” and “easily scared” when he arrived on set to film. He dismissed André’s recent account to Rolling Stone where he claimed that Chet had stolen a motorcycle and recklessly ridden it around, almost injuring several crew members on ladders.
The “Empire” actor suggested that André was unaware of his experience riding dirt bikes when he picked it up and began riding it around the set.
“There’s a lot of f–king weirdos in Hollywood, but I didn’t think you were one of them,” he continued, speaking directly to André. “I thought you were funny and cool, but turns out you’re just a p—y.”
In his interview with Rolling Stone, André drew a comparison between filming with Chet and the tragic incident on the set of “Rust,” where a cinematographer lost her life. However, Chet defended his behavior by stating that he was simply following the show’s vibe and playing along with André’s act. He repeated that he was merely “playing along with [André’s] schtick” and accused him of being a “straight b****.” We’ll have to see if the comedian will respond to Chet Hanks’ rant.
