Julia Fox Is Embarrassed By Brother’s Arrest In Illegal Weapons Case

Julia Fox is known for her debut performance in the 2019 film Uncut Gems, but more so as Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend. However, the model’s father and brother were arrested recently for a good reason. Fox has now opened up about her brother’s arrest and she is clearly embarrassed about the whole thing.

As previously reported, Fox’s father, Thomas Fox, and brother, Christopher Fox were arrested by police on Wednesday. Police discovered 3D printers assumed to be used to produce guns without traceable serial numbers at their residence. Officers also discovered formaldehyde, heroin, chloroform, unknown pills, a pill press, fentanyl, propane, and explosive materials. The police also discovered vintage wine worth thousands of dollars.

Prosecutors alleged Christopher made $345,000 in illicit gun sales between April 2020 and January 2023 using CashApp. Police also found supplies to make bombs and evidence of narcotics manufacturing.

It was then reported that Julia Fox co-signed her younger brother’s $450,000 bail bond. Julia took to TikTok to address the situation Julia shared that her dad was released that night after it was determined that he had no involvement and didn’t have much knowledge of what was happening. She also acknowledged that the media sensationalized the situation.

Julia described her brother as a sweet and gentle person who loves animals, nature, and planting flowers, but both of them have experienced a lot of trauma. However, Julia explained that she was able to release her anger through fighting, while her brother Christopher internalized it.

“My dad was released that night. It was determined that he had no involvement and didn’t really know what was going on,” Julia shared. “And also the media did sensationalize it a bit.” “I know my brother, and I’ve always known him to be the sweetest, most gentle guy, soft-spoken. He loves animals, loves to plant flowers, loves nature,” Julia added. “But I will say, both my brother and I have a lot of trauma.” She continued, “The difference [between us] is I’m scrappy, I’m a fighter. I was able to release a lot of that rage. Whereas Christopher, he internalized it.”

Julia found a silver lining in the situation, which is that Christopher will finally receive the help she has been trying to get for him. She refrained from commenting on the charges directly to avoid influencing the case, but she did express feeling embarrassed.

 I will say that I’m just, you know, embarrassed.”

Despite being arrested and taken into custody, Julia’s father has not been charged with any crime related to the alleged ghost gun operation. The investigation conducted by the NYPD into the matter is still ongoing.
