Pat McAfee is renowned as a highly talented and imaginative figure in the WWE. He has demonstrated his exceptional abilities as both a wrestler and an accomplished commentator on Friday Night SmackDown. McAfee was gone for quite a while and finally returned during the Royal Rumble. However, he has been absent again ever since and now it seems he still has massive plans to wrestle in WWE.
Pat McAfee made his WWE debut in 2018 and quickly established a feud with Adam Cole. By 2021, he had transitioned to being a color commentator on SmackDown, joining Michael Cole. McAfee’s charming personality and distinctive style have earned him accolades from fans and critics alike, as he has brought a new perspective to the commentary role.
McAfee was absent from WWE television for several months but would make his return during the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Fans were certainly glad to see the former NFL player back in the company. However, it was a short-lived reunion.
Wade Barrett said in an interview recently. that his role on the SmackDown commentary team is “as permanent as you can ever be in a role in WWE.” This of despite the fact that many believed McAfee would return to get his spot as a WWE commentator back.
The former NFL punter took to Twitter on the occasion of Austin 3:16 day and commented on his future in WWE. McAfee made it clear that he plans on competing in WWE again in the future and eventually become a WWE Hall Of Famer.

McAfee is also not sure about his WWE future amid rumors of the company getting sold. We’ll have to wait and see when Pat McAfee will make his return to WWE television as fans certainly miss him.
