‘Succession’ is one of the most well-liked television programs ever produced, with the show winning 4 Emmys at the 2022 Primetime Emmys including the award for Outstanding Drama Series. Unfortunately, the show’s upcoming season will be its end and it came as huge shock to its viewers.
Sarah Snook, who plays Shiv Roy in the show admitted that she didn’t learn the show was ending until the final table read. Sarah recently opened up about how she came to learn about the show’s ending in an interview with the LA Times.
“I was very upset. I felt a huge sense of loss, disappointment and sadness. It would have been nice to know at the beginning of the season, but I also understand not being told until the end because there was still a potential that maybe this wasn’t going to be the end.”
However, Sarah did acknowledge that finishing on top is something that is actually positive and that the series ending isn’t necessarily a bad thing. She also added that it’s better not to let the show become a parody of itself.
“Emotionally, all of us weren’t necessarily ready to be done with the show because we love each other so much. But everything has to come to an end, and it’s smart not to let something become a parody of itself.”
“Succession” centers around the Roy family, who are the heirs and owners of a major media conglomerate, and delves into themes of affluence, authority, trauma, and family dynamics. Keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get the latest updates.
