Gisele Bündchen Reveals Her Marriage With Tom Brady Was ‘Falling Apart’ Ahead of Retirement Drama

Tom Brady’s marital life with Gisele Bundchen was not in the best of places and it is now over. Overall, it seemed like Brady’s passion for football played a significant part in the couple’s eventual separation.

The two appeared to be doing well after Brady retired from the sport last Spring. Brady, however, made a U-turn and returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This led to rumors that Bundchen was unhappy and they ultimately decided to break up. However, Bundchen recently revealed that their marriage was in fact falling apart long before he went back and forth on his football future.

Bundchen recently appeared in an interview with Vanity Fair where she discussed the rumors surrounding her split with the seven-time Super Bowl champion. She denied ever making Brady choose between their marriage and his career and called the rumors “the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.”

Gisele even stated that she wants all of Brady’s “dreams to come true” and even said that she will always be there for Brady. While Gisele is rejecting any sort of ultimatum, she did not outright deny that football played a role in their breakup.

“What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle. It’s not so black and white.”

Gisele explained that they began to grow apart from one another in terms of who they were and what they desired. She also stated that they eventually had different expectations for the future.

“When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, ‘You have to live this life. You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing.

We’re not playing against each other. We are a team … and that’s beautiful. I look back and I have no regrets. I loved every bit of it.”
