On a starry Wednesday night in Atlanta, Georgia, a tribute party was held to commemorate what would have been the 47th birthday of the late rapper Shawty Lo. The event, which took place at The BANK, drew many attendees, including the Goodie Mob legend CeeLo Green, who happened to be the host of the party.
In a move that caught everyone by surprise, CeeLo made a grand entrance by riding in on a majestic horse. However, the mood quickly turned sour when the horse began to act agitated as it made its way into the loud and packed nightclub.
Despite the evident discomfort on the horse, CeeLo tried his best to maintain his composure. However, things took a hilarious turn when the colt’s legs buckled. Ceelo then went flying off the horse’s back. He ended up landing with a huge thud on the ground.
In a desperate attempt to save face, CeeLo tried to play off the mishap by breaking into some dance moves, but to no avail. The damage had already been done, and the internet had a field day with the footage of his fall. It was captured by Lil Bankhead, a V-103 radio personality, and quickly went viral on social media.
Everyone continued to party the night away in Shawty Lo’s honor, who was tragically killed in a single-car accident in Fulton County back in 2016. Although CeeLo’s equestrian flex did not go as planned, it’s safe to say that the partygoers will never forget the sight of the singer falling off his horse.
