Kenny G’s Ex-Wife Awarded $250k In Court Battle Over $40k Monthly Divorce Payments

Renowned musician Kenny G has been ordered to pay his ex-wife, Lyndie, $250,000 to assist with her legal fees in their ongoing divorce battle, according to recently obtained court documents. The ex-couple, who were married for 21 years before their 2013 divorce, share two adult children named Max and Noah.

As reported by RadarOnline.com, Kenny and Lyndie have been in a legal war over monthly payments of $40,000 that Kenny agreed to pay as part of their divorce settlement. Kenny claimed that his income had decreased significantly since the support order was entered and has paid Lyndie over $4 million in the past nine years.

Kenny’s attorney noted that his client’s touring opportunities, where he earns the most income, have declined in the last 2-3 years. Additionally, his net worth which stood at $50 million at the time of the divorce, has been impacted by the decline in income.

However, Lyndie accused Kenny of intentionally hiding his income and filing misleading financial reports with the court. She believed his income had increased rather than decreased and accused him of failing to make the monthly payments, despite his contractual obligation to do so.

During a recent hearing, the judge ruled in favor of Lyndie, stating that Kenny’s income is substantially higher than hers. The court then ordered him to pay $175,000 for past legal fees and an extra $75,000 for legal fees in the future.

While Kenny and Lyndie’s legal battle over the $40k-per-month payments is set to continue, the recent ruling means that Kenny will have to fork out a significant amount of money to cover his ex-wife’s legal costs. The case serves as a reminder of the complex financial and legal issues that can arise during a high-profile divorce.
