Tom Brady is undoubtedly one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. With a career spanning over two decades, he has achieved numerous accolades and broken several records. Known for his impressive accuracy, leadership skills, and clutch performances, Brady has led his team to seven Super Bowl victories, earning himself five Super Bowl MVP awards along the way. Now, it looks like he may be expanding his interests outside of football.
Tom Brady has just become a part owner of the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces. The news was just confirmed by Raiders and Aces owner Mark Davis.
“Since I purchased the Aces, our goal has been to win on and off the court. Tom Brady is a win not only for the Aces, and the WNBA, but for women’s professional sports as a whole.”
The team said that Brady first showed interest in the Aces when he sat courtside as they beat the Connecticut Sun during a home game last year. The NFL great released a statement about his recent business venture.
“I am very excited to be part of the Las Vegas Aces organization.” He added, “My love for women’s sports began at a young age when I would tag along to all my older sisters’ games — They were by far the best athletes in our house! We celebrated their accomplishments together as a family, and they remain a great inspiration to me.”
Brady added that he loves what the players and coaches of the Aces have been doing to improve the sport and inspire young athletes.
“To be able to contribute in any way to that mission as a member of the Aces organization is an incredible honor,” he said.
The pairing between Brady and Las Vegas Aces almost seems perfect on paper considering the Aces are coming off a championship-winning season last year.
