Michael Bay, the famous filmmaker, recently had an experience that seemed eerily familiar to him. His staff reported to the police that two men arrived at his Los Angeles home on Monday and buzzed the intercom claiming to be city officials who were there to check the water meters. However, something seemed off to Bay’s employee, who answered the intercom.
According to TMZ, the men arrived in a white van with New York license plates, which was suspicious since they claimed to work for the city. Secondly, one of the alleged city employees’ uniforms looked strange, with his stomach exposed. Finally, the men were seen looking around the property, which raised further suspicion. Consequently, Bay’s employee called the police.
It was noted that the incident is being treated as an attempted trespass and possibly something more sinister. It is believed that the men could have been potential burglars, attempting to scope out the property. Detectives are currently investigating the case.
It is unclear whether Michael Bay was at home at the time of the incident. However, if he was, he may have recognized the situation from his own film, “Bad Boys II,” where a similar scenario occurs. The incident has highlighted the importance of being vigilant and cautious, especially for high-profile individuals like Bay.
