Britney Spears faced a 13-year struggle under her conservatorship, but her fans remained steadfast in their support. Their efforts paid off in 2021 when she was finally able to break free from the conservatorship. That being said, it appears that her memoir has now been delayed after concern from A-Listers.
As previously reported, Britney Spears planned on dropping a tell-all book about her life at the end of last year. However, it was previously delayed due to a shortage of paper.
According to a report by The US Sun, Britney Spears’ “brutally honest” memoir has been delayed over concerns from some A-listers who know her. It was reported that the book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, received “strongly worded legal letters” from those who fear what Spear has written in the book.
“Britney is brutally honest in the book — there are a lot of nervous A-listers. Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney and who fear what she has written.”
It was further added that not only is there “no movement” on the book “at the moment,” but there are also new concerns over when “it will eventually be able to come out.”
While no one was mentioned in particular, Britney Spears famous dated Justin Timberlake and was married to Kevin Federline, so they might be two names who don’t want the book published. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what will become of the book.
