It seems like 6ix9ine just can’t catch a break! The controversial rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, has reportedly found himself in hot water once again, this time in the Dominican Republic.
6ix9ine was detained in the Dominican Republic as he faces a case involving an alleged assault on a producer. But here’s where things take a dramatic turn: the rapper attempted to leave the country on a private jet, thinking he could escape the legal troubles brewing, but that plan backfired spectacularly.
Immigration attorney Felix Portes revealed that when 6ix9ine boarded the private jet, he triggered what is known as an “immigration alert.” This alert led to the grounding of the plane, effectively trapping the rapper in the Dominican Republic. To make matters worse, a warrant has now been issued for his arrest for attempting to flee the country.
It’s worth noting that just last month, 6ix9ine was released from jail on $500,000 bail, but there was still a restraining order in place, requiring him to stay away from the two men he allegedly assaulted. Additionally, he was mandated to attend anger management classes.
In a message shared on his Instagram Stories shortly after his release, 6ix9ine expressed his gratitude to his fans and the Dominican Republic. He also mentioned that the process to secure his freedom had begun.
As for the incident itself, 6ix9ine allegedly assaulted two men over a dispute involving his girlfriend. While footage of the altercation was not captured, it led to police issuing a warrant for his arrest on charges of “blows and injuries, and threats.”
The big question now is when the trial will take place and what the outcome will be for 6ix9ine in this latest legal saga. One thing’s for sure, his life is nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, and the drama doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon!
