Jake Paul is one of the biggest names in professional boxing right now, who singlehandedly helped rejuvenate the world of professional boxing in many ways. He won his latest boxing match but now Paul is looking ahead to his next bout, which has just been officially confirmed.
The Problem Child squared off against Tommy Fury back in February this year, where he ended up losing to the young boxer. Tommy Fury did agree to a rematch with Jake Paul, but nothing has come of that just yet. He would then defeat Nate Diaz in another boxing match back in August.
According to ESPN, Jake Paul’s opponent in his next boxing match will be Andre August, a 10-1 pro boxer. Jake will square off against August on December 15 in Orlando, Florida. The boxing match will be contested at cruiserweight (200 pounds) and is contracted for eight rounds. Jake Paul also took to Twitter and commented on the fight.
‘‘Ask and I shall deliver. August has more KO’s then me, more wins then me, more experience then me, but I like to gamble. The path to world champ starts here. Just straight up boxing.”
August is a more experienced fighter than Jake Paul and is one of Paul’s biggest challengers yet. We will have to wait and see whether The Problem Child will be able to pick up the win next month.
