Chuck Liddell is divorcing his wife of ten years. That came after police were called for a domestic disturbance complaint and he was carted off to jail back in 2021. Now Liddell and his wife have dropped the fight to strip each other of custody of their children.
In the ongoing divorce battle between Chuck Liddell and his estranged wife Heidi, the contentious fight over custody seems to have come to a somewhat amicable conclusion now.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the former couple has agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their two children. Under the new provision, both parties are bound by a provision that prohibits any negative or disparaging comments about the other parent in the presence of their children.
“Neither party shall make, nor knowingly allow anyone else to make, any negative, disparaging, or derogatory comments (including but not limited to, physical gestures, facial expressions, and/or verbal statements) about the other parent to, or within the hearing of, the minor children.”
That said, the issue of child support isn’t solved yet. In her initial plea, Heidi had requested a substantial $16,000 per month, citing Chuck’s reported monthly income of $41,000. She further alleged that Chuck was “frequently out of town; unavailable to exercise his custodial time with the minor children” and “unable to fully care for the minor children without the assistance of others.”
Chuck Liddell accused Heidi of being the one obstructing his relationship with the children. He claimed that Heidi usually kept custody of the children and “lies about where the children live and with whom,” and “repeatedly makes false accusations to the children that [Chuck] blocks their contact with [Heidi].”
”The conduct by Mother is clearly adverse to the children’s best interest. In fact, it unfairly creates a destabilizing, confusing, and chaotic environment for the children that, frankly, places them in serious harm both emotionally and mentally. It is evident that Mother is either unable or unwilling to modify her behavior to protect the children from her own emotional and mental issues.”
In terms of child support, Chuck proposed a significantly lower amount of $5,000 per month, challenging Heidi’s requested sum. We will keep you updated on this ongoing legal case.
