Drake is a veteran musician and is well aware of how desirable he really is when it matters. He also has a lot of interests besides music, but that doesn’t mean he is free from legal troubles. In fact, Drake was questioned for many hours as part of Travis Scott’s Astroworld lawsuit deposition.
Back in 2021, Travis Scott’s first night of his Astroworld concert in Houston ended in the deaths of 8 people after a stampede broke out. On top of that, more than 300 people also suffered injuries. Another has died from her injuries after being declared braindead.
That was not all as a 9-year-old succumbed to his injuries after getting trampled during the Astroworld concert. Unsurprisingly, Travis Scott is currently facing a lawsuit over the tragedy and even Drake and Live Natio were mentioned in the lawsuit.
According to Rolling Stone, Drake was questioned for “several hours” about the November 2021 concert. Drake’s team also felt it was not the right time to comment on the matter.
”Due to orders in the case, I don’t feel it is appropriate to comment on the matter.”
Drake even commented on the Astroworld tragedy when it happened in a now-deleted post. The concert riot was also said to be a targeted attack. We hope such a horrific incident never happens again.
