Bryan Cranston spilled the beans on a wild party stunt he and Aaron Paul pulled at Drake’s 37th birthday bash last month. In an exclusive chat with E! News over the weekend, Cranston spilled the cocktail details on how it all went down.
So, here’s the lowdown: It was all thanks to Miami’s own restaurant mogul, David Grutman, who hooked up Cranston and Paul with the exclusive invite to Drake’s birthday shindig.
Cranston couldn’t contain his excitement as he spilled the beans, saying, “There’s a great restaurant in Miami run by David Grutman. So he called us and said, ‘Drake’s birthday is tomorrow night. Would you guys like to come?’ And we thought, we’re down there in Miami, yes! So we have to do it. So we did. And it was a surprise to Drake. He didn’t know.”
And just picture this: Drake turns the corner, and there are Walter White and Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad, ready to whip up some drinks! Cranston even added a touch of flair to the whole thing by asking Drake, “Sir, can I mix you a drink?” Now, that’s a party trick!
Cranston didn’t hold back on the praise either, describing Drake as “a cool guy” and “a really fun guy.” Talk about breaking the ice with the birthday boy in style!
Drake’s 37th birthday celebration went down on October 23rd, and it was one for the books. The rapper even shared a photo on Instagram of himself, Cranston, and Paul, along with a caption that read: “Pinkman, Walter White, and Walter Light…RIP to Mike but when it comes to records, we’re breaking bad for sure…I’ll be back with more fun and responses to all your love. I’m getting fried tonight though…love you all dearly thank you for awarding me this honor to be a familiar voice in your lives.”
The party came hot on the heels of Drake’s latest album drop, “For All The Dogs.” If this surprise appearance by Cranston and Paul is anything to go by, it’s clear that Drake knows how to throw a birthday bash that leaves everyone talking!
